About me:
Hello, I’m Emily – a paediatric speech and language therapist based in Suffolk, also travelling into South Norfolk and working online with families (which can be accessed from any location).
I can offer school visits (with the school’s agreement), home visits, and/or online sessions if preferred.

Since qualifying in 2016, I’ve worked both independently and within the NHS, where I continue to practice in mainstream schools. My specialist interest and focus is speech sound delay and disorder. I’ve completed extensive training in assessment, treatment approaches, which includes various techniques for achieving individual sounds and using them confidently, and also supporting carryover and generalisation.

Therapy Tailored to Your Child: Every child is unique, and I adapt my approach to suit their needs. Sessions may be play-based and child-led or more structured and collaborative, involving parents and teaching staff wherever possible. Activities could include games, role play, digital and paper-based tasks, embedding the child’s interests as much as possible – all designed to make therapy engaging, effective, motivating and fun.

Above all, my goal is to help children communicate with confidence. I want speech therapy to be a positive experience and step towards your child feeling happy and no longer frustrated by their tricky speech sounds.

If you’d like to talk about how I can support your child with their speech, please feel free to get in touch.
